This RTQ 7C3 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse and rat HCN1. Clone RTQ 7C3 detects a ~110 kDa band corresponding to HCN1 by Western Blot.

Target Information

HCN1 belongs to the hyperpolarization-activated cation channel family, contributing to spontaneous rhythmic activity in heart and brain.
It plays a key role in motor learning and neuronal integration by cerebellar Purkinje cells, shaping autonomous neuronal activity and network oscillations.
HCN1 is highly expressed in cerebral cortex, hippocampus, cerebellum, and facial motor nucleus.
HCN2 is abundant in mamillary bodies, pontine nucleus, ventral cochlear nucleus, and nucleus of the trapezoid body.
Regional specificity of HCN channels contributes to differences in neuronal pacemaker activity across brain systems.
