Description:
The 24DMS1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD39 (NTPDaseI), an enzyme that converts nucleoside tri- and diphosphates (NTDPs) into nucleoside monophosphates (NMP), thus removing toxic extracellular ATP and ADP. CD39 plays a key role in inflammation suppression and platelet activation control. It is expressed on B cells, Langerhans cells, and most monocytes, as well as on a subset of CD4⁺CD25⁺FoxP3⁺ T regulatory cells. T reg cells from CD39⁻ mice show impaired suppressive properties both in vitro and in vivo.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric or immunoblot analysis of mouse splenocytes.
Recommended use ≤ 0.06 µg per test (100 µL total volume).
Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Antibody titration is recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information

CD39 is a 70–100 kDa cell surface antigen expressed on peripheral blood B cells, monocytes, T cell clones, and weakly on granulocytes. It has intrinsic ecto-ATPase activity and is induced on T cells and increased on B cells as a late activation antigen.
