Product Specific Information
- Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Suggested positive control: Liver carcinoma.

GPC3 (Glypican 3)는 세포 표면에 존재하는 heparan sulfate proteoglycan으로, 주로 중배엽 조직 및 기관의 성장 억제 및 조절에 관여합니다. IGF2와 그 수용체 간의 상호작용을 조절하여 성장 조절 기능에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다. Glypican 계열 단백질은 GPI 결합을 통해 세포막에 고정되어 있으며, 세포 분열 및 성장 조절, 종양 발생 소인과 관련이 있습니다.
GPC3 유전자의 결실 돌연변이는 Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome (SGBS), 즉 Simpson dysmorphia syndrome (SDYS)의 원인으로 알려져 있으며, 이 질환은 내장 및 골격 이상을 동반한 태아 및 출생 후 과성장(거대증)을 특징으로 합니다.
