Product Specific Information
- Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- A suggested positive control is lung tissue.
Target Information
This gene belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. Forkhead box transcription factors regulate tissue- and cell type-specific gene transcription during development and adulthood. Many members of this gene family, including subfamily P, are involved in mammalian oncogenesis. This gene may play a role in tumor development of the kidney and larynx. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
