Target Information
The GADD45G gene belongs to a family of genes whose expression increases under stress-induced growth arrest or DNA damage conditions. The encoded protein mediates activation of the p38/JNK pathway via MTK1/MEKK4 kinase in response to environmental stress. GADD45G is highly expressed in the placenta.
