SYNPO2 (Myopodin)은 synaptopodin 계열의 단백질로, PPXY 및 PXXP 모티프를 포함합니다. α-actinin과 공위하며 Z-disc에서 발견되고, 스트레스 조건에서 핵으로 이동합니다. 이는 세포골격 구조뿐 아니라 신호전달 경로에도 관여함을 시사합니다. SYNPO2는 calmodulin, α-actinin, smooth muscle myosin과 결합하며, calmodulin 의존적으로 actin 중합을 자극합니다. 이러한 특성은 세포골격 조직화 역할과 관련이 있습니다.
