Target Information
CCL4 (macrophage inflammatory protein 1-beta, MIP1B)는 intercrine beta (chemokine CC) 패밀리에 속합니다.
이 단백질은 염증 부위에서 다양한 염증 세포를 유도하고 자극하는 화학주성 및 염증성 기능을 담당합니다.
CCL4는 대식세포가 세균 내독소에 의해 자극될 때 생성되며, 림프구, 대식세포, 수지상 세포에서도 발현됩니다.
CCL4와 CCL3은 병원체 감염 시 염증세포의 이동과 활성화를 조절하여 숙주 방어 반응에 기여합니다.
CCL4는 CD4+ 림프구를, CCL3은 CD8+ 림프구를 선택적으로 유인하며, 두 단백질 모두 B 세포, 호산구, 수지상 세포의 강력한 화학주성 인자입니다.
가공된 형태의 CCL4는 CCR5 수용체의 발현을 감소시켜 HIV-1이 T 세포에 침입하는 것을 억제할 수 있습니다.
CCL4는 CCR5 수용체에 높은 친화도로 결합합니다.
