Target Information
AXL은 만성 골수성 백혈병, 대장암, 흑색종 등과 관련된 종양 유전자입니다. AXL 단백질은 세포외 기질로부터 성장 인자 신호를 전달하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 세포 증식 자극에 관여합니다.
TAM 수용체는 세포 사멸체의 식세포 작용에도 관여하며, TAM 결손 마우스는 자가면역성 루푸스 유사 증상을 보입니다. 또한 Axl은 필로바이러스의 잠재적 수용체로 기능할 수 있으며, 특정 인간 혈액 수지상세포 아형(Siglec 6+/Axl+)의 마커로 활용됩니다.
Axl 발현은 TLR 리간드(LPS, poly I:C)에 의해 증가하며, 막형 Axl은 단백질 분해에 의해 용해형으로 전환됩니다. 혈장 내 Axl 농도 증가는 염증 및 암의 지표로 사용될 수 있습니다.
