Target Information
Podoplanin (PDPN, T1A, gp38, Aggrus)은 분자량 40–43 kDa의 mucin type-1 glycoprotein입니다. 다양한 종양 및 정상 세포, 특히 림프관 내피세포와 여포성 수지상세포에서 발현됩니다.
Podoplanin은 말초 림프조직의 기질세포 및 흉선 상피세포에 위치하며, 림프관 내피의 형태 유지에 관여합니다. CLEC-2의 리간드로 작용하며, 높은 침습성과 전이 가능성을 가진 종양에서 발현이 증가합니다.
세포 이동, 전이 형성 및 종양 침습에 직접적으로 관여하며, Src 활성화를 통한 Cas 경로에 의해 발현이 유도됩니다. 최근 연구에서는 Th17 세포에서도 Podoplanin의 존재가 보고되었습니다.
Podoplanin 단백질의 이상은 림프관종, 성문하 종양 등 질환과 연관되어 있으며, 폐 손상 마커로도 제안되었습니다.
