Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC) plays a crucial role in receptor-mediated signal transduction by generating two second messengers, inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate and diacylglycerol, from phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate.
There are multiple mammalian PLC isozymes, including PLCβ1–4, PLCγ1–2, PLCδ1–2, and PLCε. PLCδ isoforms, particularly PLCδ1, act as calcium signal amplifiers and are activated by atypical GTP-binding proteins. PLCδ1 is an effector in oxytocin receptor and α1B-adrenoreceptor signaling and is highly expressed in brain, heart, lung, and testis.
Abnormal accumulation of PLCδ has been observed in Alzheimer’s disease brains, suggesting a role in its pathology. PLCδ2 expression is associated with intestinal metaplasia and adenocarcinoma, potentially serving as a marker for gastric malignant transformation.
