이 단백질은 활성화된 대식세포에서 interleukin-4 및 dexamethasone 반응으로 발현이 증가하며, T- 및 B-림프구, 단핵세포 및 상피세포에서도 발현됩니다.
SI-CLP는 stabilin-1의 리간드로 작용하며, 활성화된 대식세포에서 late endosome 및 secretory lysosome으로 분류됩니다.
