Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
TANK was identified as a TRAF-interacting protein regulating TRAF-mediated signal transduction. Upon ligand binding to TNF receptor and Toll/interleukin-1 receptor families, a TRAF/TANK complex forms, activating NF-kappa-B via association with kinases IKK-iota and TBK1. These can further complex with NEMO, modulating Ikappa-B activity and NF-kappa-B transactivation potential. At least two isoforms of TANK are known.
