Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) are RNA-binding proteins that complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA). These proteins associate with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and influence pre-mRNA processing, mRNA metabolism, and transport. While all hnRNPs are nuclear, some shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm. hnRNP C1 and C2 are encoded by a single gene, with two alternatively spliced transcript variants.
