Product Specific Information

PA1-40282 detects TNF-R I from mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in ELISA, functional assays, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot applications.
The immunogen is the extracellular region of mouse TNF-R I.
Endotoxin level: <24 EU/mg.


Target Information

TNFR1 (Tumor necrosis factor receptor 1) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily and functions as a major TNF-alpha receptor.
It plays key roles in cytokine-mediated signaling, positive regulation of NF-κB pathway, angiogenesis, and negative regulation of gene expression.
The extracellular domain is released into circulation as soluble TNFR1 (sTNFR1).
In humans, the TNFR1 gene is located on chromosome 12.
TNFR1 interacts with BAG4/SODD, TRADD, and TRAF2, which regulate receptor-mediated signal transduction.
Germline mutations in the extracellular domain are associated with autosomal dominant periodic fever syndrome due to impaired receptor clearance.
