Target Information
ADCYAP1 (adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide 1)는 adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide 1 receptor를 통해 adenylate cyclase를 활성화하여 표적 세포의 cAMP 수준을 증가시킵니다.
이 폴리펩타이드는 뇌하수체 자극 호르몬(hypophysiotropic hormone)으로 작용할 뿐 아니라 신경전달물질 및 신경조절인자로도 기능합니다. 또한 특정 세포 유형의 자가분비 및 측분비(paracrine, autocrine) 조절에도 관여합니다.
이 유전자는 두 가지 이소형을 포함한 세 가지 성숙 펩타이드를 암호화합니다.
