Product Specific Information
In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse EphA3, EphA8, EphA4, recombinant rat EphA5, mouse EphA2, EphA6, and EphA7 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
EphA1 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system. These receptors typically contain a single kinase domain and an extracellular region with a cysteine-rich domain and two fibronectin type III repeats. EphA1 is expressed in certain human cancer cell lines and has been implicated in carcinogenesis.
