Target Information
CEACAM1은 carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) 유전자 패밀리에 속하는 면역글로불린 초과패밀리 단백질입니다. CEA 세포 부착 분자와 임신 특이성 당단백질 두 하위군이 염색체 19의 장완에 위치하며, 여러 pseudogene도 함께 존재합니다.
이 단백질은 처음 간의 담관에서 발견되었으며, 이후 백혈구, 상피세포, 내피세포 등 다양한 세포에서 발현되는 세포-세포 부착 분자로 알려졌습니다.
동종 및 이종 결합을 통해 세포 부착을 매개하며, 조직 구조 형성, 혈관신생, 세포사멸, 종양 억제, 전이, 선천 및 적응 면역 반응 조절 등 다양한 생물학적 기능을 수행합니다.
여러 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 그 중 두 가지의 완전 길이 서열이 확인되었습니다.
