Target Information
Placental Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP)은 특정 염증성 질환 과정의 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 효소는 intestinal, placental, placental-like, liver/bone/kidney 등 네 가지 주요 형태로 존재합니다.
PLAP은 임신 3기 동안 태반에서 발현되는 막 결합형 이소효소(Regan 및 Nagao형)와 반응합니다.
이 항체는 고환 생식세포 종양의 식별에 유용하며, PLAP 양성 체세포 종양은 일반적으로 EMA를 발현합니다.
또한 PLAP은 기질 무기화(matrix mineralization)에 관여하는 것으로 제안되었으나, 해당 효소가 결핍된 생쥐에서도 정상적인 골격 발달이 관찰됩니다.
PLAP은 고인산분해효소증(hypophosphatasia)과 직접적으로 연관되어 있으며, 이 질환은 고칼슘혈증 및 골격 이상을 특징으로 합니다.
돌연변이의 종류에 따라 발병 시기와 증상의 정도가 달라질 수 있습니다.
