Target Information
Alpha-1-Antitrypsin (Alpha-1-AT)는 간에서 합성되며, 트립신, 엘라스타제, 키모트립신, 콜라게나제, 류코시틱 프로테아제, 플라스민, 트롬빈 등 다양한 프로테아제의 억제제로 작용합니다. Alpha-1-AT 결핍 시 이러한 효소들이 억제되지 않아 폐 실질을 손상시킬 수 있습니다. Alpha-1-AT 결핍은 만성 폐쇄성 폐질환(폐기종) 및 드물게 영아 간경화, 신생아 호흡곤란증과 관련이 있습니다. 조직 괴사 및 염증 시 급성기 반응으로 Alpha-1-AT 수치가 증가하며, 류머티즘 관절염, 세균 감염, 혈관염, 암 전이 시 혈청 수치가 상승합니다.
