Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)는 281개의 아미노산으로 구성된 Type I 막단백질로, 주로 Th1 및 Tc1 세포의 표면에 발현됩니다.
TIM3는 IgV-like 도메인과 mucin-like 도메인, 세포질 내 tyrosine 인산화 모티프를 포함하고 있습니다.
이 단백질은 대식세포 활성화 및 자가면역 질환 유도에 관여하며, Th1 매개 면역 반응을 조절하고 면역 관용 유도에 기여합니다.
병리학적으로는 Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE)와 같은 Th1 의존성 자가면역 질환의 발병 및 중증도 증가와 관련이 있습니다.
