Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the optimal candidate.

Target Information
Peroxiredoxin (Prx) proteins form a family of peroxidases involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Mammalian Prxs include six members categorized into typical 2-Cys, atypical 2-Cys, and 1-Cys subgroups.
- Prx VI belongs to the 1-Cys subgroup, while the other five 2-Cys Prxs exhibit thioredoxin-dependent peroxidase activity using thioredoxin, thioredoxin reductase, and NADPH.
- Mammalian Prxs are 20–30 kDa in size and vary in subcellular localization:
- Prx I, II, VI: cytosol
- Prx III: mitochondria
- Prx IV: ER and secretion
- Prx V: peroxisome, mitochondria, and cytosol
