Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
SOCS (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling) family negatively regulates cytokine receptor signaling.
There are eight known members: SOCS-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and CIS.
SOCS proteins contain an N-terminal variable region, a central SH2 domain, and a C-terminal SOCS box.
They form a negative feedback loop controlling cytokine signal transduction via STAT-induced transcription.
Transcription of SOCS genes occurs rapidly in response to cytokines, and each member inhibits signaling through distinct mechanisms.
