For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The heterotetrameric coat assembly protein complex, also known as the adaptor-related protein complex 2 (AP-2), belongs to the adaptor complexes medium subunit family.
The mu 1 subunit of the AP-2 complex (AP2M1) is required for the activity of a vacuolar ATPase responsible for proton pumping during endosome and lysosome acidification.
AP2M1 associates with the HIV-1 protein Nef, suggesting that Nef may use the AP-2 complex to enhance endocytosis of CD4 and MHC class I molecules.
It may also regulate intracellular trafficking and function of CTLA-4 protein.
At least two isoforms of AP2M1 are known to exist.
