Target Information
DNA methyltransferase 1-associated protein 1 (DMAP1)는 전사 억제 또는 활성화에 관여하는 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 DNA methyltransferase 1의 N-말단과 직접 상호작용하여 S기 동안 복제 초점에 위치하며, 후기 S기에는 histone deacetylase 2가 복합체에 추가되어 전사적으로 비활성화된 이질염색질의 히스톤 탈아세틸화를 매개합니다. 또한 DMAP1은 DAXX 매개 글루코코르티코이드 수용체 의존적 전사 억제를 강화하며, nucleosome acetyltransferase of H4 복합체의 구성 요소로서 다양한 전사 억제 단백질과 상호작용합니다. 인간 DMAP1 유전자는 염색체 1p34에 위치합니다.
