Target Information
ATP1A2는 Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase를 암호화하는 유전자로, 세포막의 전기화학적 농도 기울기를 유지하는 데 필수적인 막 단백질입니다. 이 펌프는 나트륨(Na⁺)과 칼륨(K⁺) 이온을 능동적으로 수송하여 삼투 조절, 다양한 물질의 나트륨 결합 수송, 신경 및 근육의 전기적 흥분성을 유지합니다.
ATP1A2 단백질은 P-type 양이온 수송 ATPase 계열에 속하며, α와 β 두 개의 소단위로 구성된 복합체입니다. α2 소단위는 ATP1A2 유전자에 의해 암호화됩니다.
ATP1A2 유전자 변이는 가족성 편마비성 편두통(Familial Hemiplegic Migraine 2) 및 소아기 교대 편마비(Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood)와 관련이 있습니다.
