Product Specific Information
This antibody specifically recognizes members of the Aspergillus species including A. fumigatus, A. flavus, and A. niger.
It reacts strongly with fungal walls and septae, and to a lesser extent within the cytoplasm of hyphae.
This product requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections using trypsin or pronase.
In Western blot, this antibody detects a band at approximately 106 kDa in Aspergillus fumigatus wall fraction (WF).
