이 단일클론 항체는 Rhizopus arrhizus 및 Mucoraceae 계통의 다른 균류(예: Absidia corymbifera, Rhizomucor pusillus)를 인식하며, 균사 세포질과 세포벽, 격벽 부위에서 강한 반응을 보입니다.
면역조직화학(IHC)에서 소의 전신성 zygomycosis 진단에 유용하게 사용되며, 비구조적 성분의 고당화된 부분에 결합하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
이 항체는 Aspergillus spp.의 WSSA에는 반응하지 않습니다.
Western blot에서는 R. arrhizus WSSA의 약 14–110 kDa 범위의 확산된 밴드를 검출합니다.
IHC 염색 시 파라핀 절편은 trypsin 또는 pronase를 이용한 단백질 소화 전처리가 필요합니다.
권장 양성 대조군: R. arrhizus 감염 소의 림프절.
