- In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity observed with recombinant human FGFA, Factor VII, Factor X, Factor XI, PROC, Thrombin, UPA1, KLK family members (KLK-1 to KLK-15, KLK-B1).
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Coagulation Factor VII is a vitamin K-dependent factor essential for hemostasis. It circulates in the blood in a zymogen form and is activated by minor proteolysis via factor IXa, Xa, XIIa, or thrombin. Upon activation, Factor VII forms a heavy chain (catalytic domain) and a light chain (EGF-like domains) connected by a disulfide bond. In the presence of Factor III and calcium ions, activated Factor VII triggers the coagulation cascade by converting Factor IX to IXa and/or Factor X to Xa. Defects in F7 production can lead to coagulopathy.
