Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

IKK alpha/beta is encoded by CHUK and IKKB genes located on chromosomes 10 and 8 in humans. Upon NF-kB pathway activation (e.g., TNF alpha stimulation), IKK alpha and IKK beta, along with regulator NEMO (IKK gamma), phosphorylate IkB proteins. This leads to ubiquitin-mediated degradation and NF-kB phosphorylation, enabling nuclear translocation. Phosphorylation at serine 176 and 180 in the activation loop induces conformational changes required for kinase activation.
