Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. Although previously thought to be a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered an orphan receptor with no identified endogenous ligand. It also functions as a coreceptor for human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV). Translocations involving this gene and HMGA2 on chromosome 12 have been observed in lipomas.
