Preparation: Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-12. Anti-Human IL-12-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human IL-12 matrix.

Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human IL-12 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-12 (500-P154HGBT) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 2000-4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human IL-12.

Western Blot: To detect Human IL-12 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/mL. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-12 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

It is produced by immune cells, including dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells, in response to certain pathogens and tumor cells. IL-12 p70 stimulates the production of interferon-gamma and other cytokines, which promote the activation and proliferation of T cells and natural killer cells. IL-12 p70 has been studied as a potential therapeutic target for various diseases and conditions, including infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer.
