Preparation
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-12. Anti-Human IL-12-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA
To detect Human IL-12 by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human IL-12 (500-P154HG) as a capture antibody, it allows detection of at least 2000–4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human IL-12.

Western Blot
To detect Human IL-12 by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. With compatible development reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-12 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IL-12 p70 (interleukin-12) is a cytokine critical for immune responses against infections and cancer. It is produced by dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells in response to pathogens and tumor cells. IL-12 p70 stimulates interferon-gamma production, promoting T cell and NK cell activation. It is studied as a therapeutic target for infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer due to its role in enhancing immune responses and modulating inflammation.
