For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Programmed death-ligand 2 (PD-L2, B7-DC) is a member of the B7 ligand family within the immunoglobulin superfamily and acts as a ligand for PD-1 along with PD-L1.
PD-L2 is mainly expressed in dendritic cells but can be induced in various immune and non-immune cells depending on the microenvironment.
Expression is upregulated by Th2 cytokine IL-4 and, to a lesser degree, by Th1 cytokines TNF-α and IFN-γ.
PD-L2 binds PD-1 with 2–6 times higher affinity than PD-L1 and functions as an inhibitory immune checkpoint molecule, regulating T cell activation and cytokine secretion.
Recent studies suggest PD-L2 also binds repulsive guidance molecule b (RGMb), influencing respiratory tolerance through BMP and neogenin signaling pathways.
The human PD-L2 monomer consists of a 201-aa extracellular domain, 21-aa transmembrane domain, and 32-aa cytoplasmic domain.
