Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FOXA2 is a member of the forkhead class of DNA-binding proteins. These hepatocyte nuclear factors act as transcriptional activators for liver-specific genes such as albumin and transthyretin, and also interact with chromatin.
In mice, related family members are involved in metabolic regulation and differentiation of the pancreas and liver.
FOXA2 has been associated with sporadic cases of maturity-onset diabetes of the young. Transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
