Target Information
Human SUG1 (also known as p45, Rpt6, and Cim3) is a component of the 19S regulatory subunit of the 26S proteasome complex.
It belongs to the AAA ATPase family and participates in the unfolding of ubiquitinated proteins in an ATP-dependent manner.
SUG1 also directly interacts with the nucleotide excision repair protein XPB.
