Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They combine multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.

These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, yielding higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot is produced with the same known mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability associated with traditional polyclonal antibodies.

Target Information

Stathmin 1 belongs to the stathmin family of genes and encodes a cytosolic phosphoprotein that integrates regulatory signals within the cell. It regulates microtubule dynamics by destabilizing microtubules, preventing assembly, and promoting disassembly. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
