Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity and consistency of monoclonal antibodies.

These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Target Information

SSTR2 (somatostatin receptor 2) is a seven-transmembrane receptor expressed predominantly in the cerebrum and kidney. Somatostatin inhibits the release of various hormones and secretory proteins. The receptor is coupled via pertussis toxin-sensitive G proteins to inhibit adenylyl cyclase.
