Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The PAX8 gene encodes a member of the paired box family of transcription factors. These proteins typically contain a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain.
This nuclear protein is involved in thyroid follicular cell development and expression of thyroid-specific genes. Mutations in this gene have been associated with thyroid dysgenesis, thyroid follicular carcinomas, and atypical follicular thyroid adenomas.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
