Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

The encoded protein belongs to the MAP kinase family, which integrates multiple biochemical signals and participates in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development.
This kinase is activated by various stimuli and mediates immediate-early gene expression. Activation by TNF-alpha is required for TNF-alpha-induced apoptosis and is also involved in UV radiation-induced apoptosis via the cytochrome c-mediated cell death pathway.
Mouse studies suggest roles in T cell proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
