For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD47 (Integrin-Associated Protein, IAP) is a ubiquitously expressed cell surface transmembrane glycoprotein that interacts with multiple integrins to regulate their functions.
Engagement of CD47 with ligands or receptors modulates signaling pathways, including activation of heterotrimeric G proteins and intracellular calcium increase upon cell adhesion.
CD47 serves as a receptor for the C-terminal domain of thrombospondin, influencing membrane transport and signal transduction.
It acts as a ligand for CD172a (SIRPα) on macrophages, preventing phagocytosis of CD47-positive cells.
Additionally, the CD47-CD172a system affects cell migration, B cell adhesion, T cell activation, chondrocyte mechanotransduction, and neuronal development, particularly in synapse-rich brain and retinal regions.
