For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD47 (integrin-associated protein, IAP) is a ubiquitously expressed cell surface transmembrane glycoprotein that interacts with several integrins and regulates their functions. Engagement of CD47 by soluble ligands or counter receptors modulates various signaling pathways, including activation of heterotrimeric G proteins. Functionally, CD47 is involved in increasing intracellular calcium concentration upon cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix.
It serves as a receptor for the C-terminal cell binding domain of thrombospondin and may play roles in membrane transport and signal transduction. CD47 has broad tissue distribution and reduced expression on Rh erythrocytes.
As a ligand for CD172a (signal regulatory protein alpha, SIRPα), CD47 prevents phagocytosis of CD47-positive cells. The CD47-CD172a system also influences cell migration, B cell adhesion, T cell activation, chondrocyte response modulation, and neuronal development, being abundant in synapse-rich regions of the brain and retina.
