Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Sheep, Dog, and Mouse.
Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining polyclonal sensitivity with monoclonal specificity, and ensuring lot-to-lot consistency. These antibodies recognize multiple epitopes on the target, providing enhanced detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets.
Note: Formerly called “Recombinant polyclonal antibody”, now rebranded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ antibody”. The physical product and performance remain unchanged.
Target Information
BRAF is involved in the transduction of mitogenic signals from the cell membrane to the nucleus. It is activated by somatic point mutations in human cancer and plays a role in postsynaptic responses of hippocampal neurons. This protein regulates the MAP kinase/ERK signaling pathway, influencing cell division, differentiation, and secretion.
Mutations in B-Raf are associated with various cancers, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma, colorectal cancer, malignant melanoma, thyroid carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma.
A pseudogene located on chromosome X has been identified for B-Raf.
