Desmoplakin (DSP)은 desmosome의 주요 고분자 단백질로, desmosomal cadherin-plakoglobin 복합체를 세포막 영역으로 조직화하고 intermediate filament를 desmosome에 고정하는 역할을 합니다.
Desmoplakin 변이는 Keratoderma 및 cardiomyopathy와 관련이 있습니다.
