Target Information
WNT3 is part of the WNT gene family encoding secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate determination and embryonic patterning. Expression studies in NT2 teratocarcinoma cells suggest a role in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. The WNT3 gene is located in the chromosome 17q21 region.
