Target Information
MORG1 is a member of the WD-40 protein family and functions as a molecular scaffold for multimeric protein complexes. It associates with components of the extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathway and promotes ERK activity in response to serum or other signals. MORG1 also interacts with EGLN3 (PHD3) and regulates expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1). Additionally, it has been purified as part of the spliceosome.
