Target Information
PUF60 encodes a Ro RNP-binding protein that interacts with Ro RNPs, potentially representing a gain of function for these complexes.
It forms a ternary complex with FUSE and FUSE-binding protein, repressing c-myc reporter activity via FUSE.
PUF60 targets transcription factor IIH and inhibits activated transcription.
This gene is implicated in xeroderma pigmentosum disorder and has two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Evidence suggests multiple polyadenylation sites for this gene.
