Product Specific Information
This monoclonal antibody reacts with human Leukemia/lymphoma-related factor (LRF), also known as POKEMON, FBI-1, and Zbtb7a. LRF is a 65-kDa transcriptional repressor expressed in hematopoietic stem cells, T/B lymphocytes, macrophages, and erythroid cells. It is highly expressed in non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, implicating its role in oncogenesis.
LRF regulates B cell lineage commitment by opposing Notch signaling and is critical for erythroid differentiation by inhibiting Bim-mediated apoptosis. It also interacts with Bcl-6 in germinal center B cells.

Applications Tested:
Tested by IHC on human FFPE tissue using high pH antigen retrieval at ≤5 µg/mL. Recommended to titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information
LRF plays a key role in directing early lymphoid progenitors toward B cell lineage by repressing T-cell instructive Notch signals. It represses transcription of the CDKN2A gene and inhibits E2F1-dependent CDKN2A transactivation. Binds to consensus sequence 5'-[GA][CA]GACCCCCCCCC-3'.
