Antibody detects endogenous levels of Fyn only when phosphorylated at Tyr213 and Tyr214.
Target Information
FYN is a SRC-related kinase expressed in brain, skeletal muscle, and adipose tissues. It functions in multiple signaling pathways and plays a role in memory. FYN is a member of the protein-tyrosine kinase oncogene family, encoding a membrane-associated tyrosine kinase involved in cell growth regulation. The protein associates with the p85 subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and interacts with the fyn-binding protein. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms exist.
