Antibody detects endogenous levels of RACGAP1 only when phosphorylated at Serine 387.
Target Information
RAC, a small GTPase in the ras family, regulates membrane ruffle, lamellipodia, and filopodia formation. It is involved in cytoskeletal actin organization and transformation. The p21 activated kinases (PAKs) are direct targets of active Rac and Cdc42, inducing polarized cytoskeletal structures in fibroblasts. RAC1 and RAC2 are essential components of NADPH oxidase, responsible for generating free radicals.
