This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

Ephrin receptors and their ligands, the ephrins, mediate numerous developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system.
Ephrins are divided into two classes:

  • Ephrin-A (EFNA): Anchored to the membrane by glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage
  • Ephrin-B (EFNB): Transmembrane proteins

The Eph family of receptors are divided into two groups based on extracellular domain sequence similarity and ligand binding affinity. Ephrin receptors make up the largest subgroup of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs).
The Eph receptor encoded by this gene lacks kinase activity and binds to ephrin-B ligands.
